There were only about five total women I really find funny from both lists, but I did vote five from each.
Good work. There do appear to be quite a few whose getting mentioned was about the extent of their popularity at SDMB. Not all that big a surprise but nice to know.
I have to suspect that there is some master list of maybe 50-100 active comics (of all persuasions) that would get reasonable votes in the right poll. It’s just a matter of getting that master list together.

What’s so cool is that this poll has 25 voters as compared with the 30 in the other prelim poll. I take that to suggest that others may share your lack of enthusiasm for this particular slate.
