Yah, but the fur gets stuck in your teeth while your chowing down in it.
V ery strange looking. It’s always amazing to me that we are still discovering new species.
[sub]I admit to being a little worried about this thread. I was afraid “furry lobster” was a similar euphemism to “bearded clam”.[/sub]
A furry lobster is basically a bearded clam with huge dangly meatflaps.
Sorry, couldn’t resist
“Waiter! Can I get some brain bleach to go with that, please?”
Now I’m envisioning a Kiwa hirsute merkin.
I’m cringing imagining what the little bastard would clamp onto in that scenario.
Hey now, some people would like that sort of thing.
Please, for the love of God, spare me, I don’t want to know…
Besides which, you wouldn’t need any adhesives or anything! Stays on all by itself!
Ooookay, is it just me, or is this a terribly heartless remark to make when talking about a new species of yummy seafoo… uhmm sealife?
It’s like discovering a new species of duck and wondering if they’ll go good with orange sauce…
Ooooh boy, they’ve got it on for the little furry fellows already.
I can’t believe I’m the only one thinking this: band name!!
Tripler
The groupies are so hot, they’ll give you crabs!
And of course, my first thought upon opening the page was ‘That doesn’t look a thing like a lobster.’ Unless it has a tail that’s curled under in the photo, it looks more like a beetle with really long mandibles to me.
Cool find though. I’m wondering how those pincers work–seems like they should be flexible, they look too long to be much use otherwise.
I call it the Sea Pimp.
And it’s been haunting my dreams for two days. What the fuck kind of ugly IS that?
AAAAAH! The abominominable snow-crab!
But they haven’t answered the most important question: How does it taste?
I saw that picture and I thought it was fake!
