Futurama Vol. II, Which episodes are in it?

Just curious, I haven’t bought it yet, but I was just wondering what episodes are in this volume.

In other words, what’s the last episode in the set? The one where Fry, Leela, and Bender are trapped on a planet with the Star Trek cast, or where Frey composes his opera about Leela?

If this set only goes to the original final ending (the Star Trek one), does anyone know when or if the last season is being released?

Futurama ran for four wonderful years. The last episode of the second production season (which is included on Futurama Volume 2) was The Cryonic Woman (Fry unthaws his old girlfriend while working at the cryonics lab). Both Where No Fan Has Gone Before (The ultimate Star Trek nerd traps our crew in a Star Trek reunion!) and The Devil’s Hands are Idle Playthings (How can you write an opera for the one you love? Trade hands) were part of the fourth production season. That means there’s two more sets to go! When? That’s for Fox to decide.

1 - I Second That Emotion
2 - Brannigan, Begin Again
3 - A Head in the Polls
4 - Xmas Story
5 - Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?
6 - The Lesser of Two Evils
7 - Put Your Head on My Shoulders
8 - Raging Bender
9 - A Bicyclops Built for Two
10 - A Clone of My Own
11 - How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back
12 - The Deep South
13 - Bender Gets Made
14 - Mother’s Day
15 - The Problem with Popplers
16 - Anthology of Interest I
17 - War is the H-Word
18 - The Honking
19 - The Cryonic Woman

Thank you

I just want to chime in to say that the Futurama DVD sets are the BEST EVER!! The commentary is amazing! I can actually recognize most of the commentators by voice (David X. Cohen, Matt Groening, Billy West, John DiMaggio, and Rich Moore I can all identify, the others are usually just one timers specific to that ep., like the writer or director for it.)

I want season three now!

What’s Billy West sound like, anyway? He does most of the main character’s voices, so which one’s closest to his natural one?

Silentgoldfish, bender is closest to his real voice.

Actually, John Di Maggio is the voice of Bender. Billy West’s normal voice is almost exactly like the voice of Fry.

Bender’s one of the only voices he doesn’t do :). That’s John DiMaggio.

D’oh, beaten by one minute! Thanks, friggae.

WOO HOO!
Season Two is OUT!
My Smiley Bear will be SO happy…

me too!

John DiMaggio sounds like Bender and Billy West sounds like Fry.

I love the commentaries. I have to give credit to David Cohen. Whenever the conversation lags, he seems to be the one trying to give it a shot in the arm, usually succesfully.

Conisidering how soon after the first one this one came out, we probably won’t have to wait long. After all, it’s already been released in Europe!

Damn, my bad haha. I meant the guy that does bender sounds like bender. I just got mixed up with the names.

Wait, maybe not. Maybe what Censored said is what I meant, I’m so confused.

Apparently the first set sold far above expectations. So Fox decided to move up the release of the second set. Which means if we all buy this one, the next two will soon follow. And maybe, if we all buy the DVD’s and clap our hands together and say “I do believe in robots!”, there will someday be additional episodes made.

I’m just doing my job

Yay, season two! I just spent the last 24 hours watching way to much Futurama. I’ll have to give the commentaries a try, given their praise here. I have to admit, listening to people prattle over the show I’m watching hasn’t sounded too intriguing, but what the heck.

“I don’t believe in robots.”

“Then don’t clap, you idiot!”

I just got mine today. I saw A Clone of my Own, one of the few episodes I haven’t seen. “Goodbye, cruel lamp!”

Mr. Bunny & I bought it Friday, and I think we watched every single episode this weekend.

We now own full seasons of Futurama, The Family Guy, and every episode ever made of The Tick. Hell, even I’m jealous of us!
