Fuzzy memory: spoken sound effects in animated special

Knowing the Dope’s ability to answer obscure-sounding questions that have bugged people for years in under an hour…

Probably mid-70s animated film or special shown on TV. Simplistic drawing style. When a door slammed someone said “Slam” as the sound effect. Most memorable in what passes as my memory were the words “tramp tramp tramp” when shapeless, blobby people (possibly monsters?) walked up a hill or mountain.

Seems to me someone must know what I am talking about, but I can barely put that much together.

I know exactly the cartoon you’re talking about. Unfortunately, I don’t know any more about it than you do. But I’m sure I’ve seen it.
