? ? ?Gadsby by Ernest Vincent Wright? ? ?

Has anyone read the extremely interesting book, Gadsby? Not for its content, rather, for its peculiarity?

If so, tell me what you think.

If not, read it, I know you won’t forget it, so read it.

Sounds like this would do better over in MPSIMS. Off ye go.

I’ve never read it, but I’ve heard about it. Isn’t that the one written without once using the- mmmf-… All right, I won’t give it away. Where can you find it?

Heck is where you go when you don’t believe in Gosh.

Geez, now you piqued my curiousity and I had to go look it up. It’s out of print at Amazon, but at least I figured out the secret (it felt like The Crying Game all over again, and everyone knew but me). It sounds very tough to do! It reminds me of when my English teacher made us write a paper without ever using the word “the” (or “that”, but he never let us use “that” anyhow for some reason).

[Now all of you will want to know the secret too…heh heh heh  ]

I know what it is.

This is actually a topic that has shown up on this board prior to this. I can’t bring to mind who brought it up, though. Anybody know who it was? Or how long ago?
