Game for children involving weights and a scale?

I know I have seen this in one of the many online or “hard copy” toy catalogues that I’ve received in the past few weeks.

It is a game to try to balance the scales using different sizes and weights of pieces. I remember reading that it gets increasingly tougher as you play.

I think it was for ages 7 and up? I recall it being something that you wouldn’t find at Toys R Us or Walmart - it was more of an educational type toy.

Any help out there Dopers?

this?

Thanks, but nope. It was simpler than that, and looked more “natural” … might not have been made out of wood, but wasn’t overly plastic-y or colourful.
I don’t believe it was made by one of the big toy companies.

Moved Cafe Society --> the Game Room.

I was thinking Tip-It as well. Older versions looked a bit different than the one ministryman linked.

It is a lot like this one … Account Suspended

There are tons of these, but maybe if none of these is it, it’s something you may like anyway.

We just donated our old one of this fun clown guy. Great for little ones. ETA: CooCoo! That’s his name!

Another simple one, but a little tricker because of the way ithangs instead of sits.

This one brings numbers into play, so 4 and 5 together weigh the same as 9.

This one is a tray balance, with activity cards, as opposed to a competitive game.

Toppleis a popular one; my kids love it. Good for older kids and adults who are bored by most kids’ games. Plastic, made by Pressmen.
