Game odds at "The Price Is Right"

Assuming no prior knowledge of product prices (e.g. you have no idea if the ravoili is higher or lower than $1.03, so it would be strictly 50/50 odds), what pricing games have the worst odds? Are there any games that have odds better than 50/50 (e.g. “Coming or Going” or “Switch?”)?

If you are in the audience at the beginning of any show, what are the best odds you can have for winning a car? The worst?

If the game you’ve been chosen for is Plinko, what is the calculated monetary odds you would win (i.e. a 30% chance of winning $100 = $30)? Would I be correct in assuming that the best spot to maximize winnings would be directly over the $0 slots?

There are a number of games that are a straight 33% chance, but if we assume no knowledge of product prices, I’d say “Ten Chances” offered the greatest opportunity for losing if all you can do is blindly guess.

Assuming, of course, that “Ten Chances” is still played. I haven’t seen the show in some time.

By the way, here’s a complete list of “pricing games”, with detailed write-ups on each.
