Probably the only female I have seen in any film/series who actually has metal covering her entire body, not just her nipples and crotch…
They appear to be in the correct order, scenes 1-15.
Clearly, as a woman, she is inferior. Not only does she lack the most common super power, but, unlike most fantasy women warriors, she can’t do with just a chainmail bikini.
I think the thing that was so tragic and fascinating about Theon’s arc in season 2 was how he ended up doing all these really terrible things not because he was evil or power-hungry, but basically because he was weak-willed. It would have taken just a very very minor roll of the dice for him to still be Rob’s trusted right hand man, with the worst thing he ever did being kind of lording it over whores.
Hilarious as usual. I had to look up “Damien Hirst” - comedy gold!
Yes, her armor clearly implies a backstory that includes a scene like this.
The female pit fighter in Mereen probably dresses something like that. Those guys disdain armor, after all.
… “punk” version was performed by The Hold Steady.
I got to the one that was about a Rolling Stone article by Matt Taibbi - “The Iron Bank of Braavos is like a vampire squid wrapped around the face of Westeros” and nearly busted a gut.
I might have a comment about this, but I have more knowledge than just the HBO series. I don’t want to make comments that should be left out of this thread. Could someone remind me why Littlefinger owes Tyrion? I’m having a hard time remembering Tyrion’s rescue of Ros.
Perhaps you should make your comment in the thread with open spoilers.
Cersei captured Ros because he thought Tyrion was fucking her (confusing her with Shae). Tyrion had her released. They explained this in that episode.
Finally caught up on episodes! Looks like Jaime offhandedly said something wrong.
Thanks! That was how I remembered it, but I wanted to make sure.
I realize that this thread is now a week old, but I wanted to comment on something that was mentioned a quite a few times in this thread. It’s about Littlefinger owing Tyrion for saving Ros. Maybe that’s what Littlefinger said in his conversation with Tyrion, but I think there was an undercurrent there. I think what was actually implied is that Tyrion owes Littlefinger for getting Ros tangled up in his fight with Cersei.
