Game of Thrones 3.05 "Kissed by Fire" 4/28/13 No spoilers

Eh, it depends on your perspective. Compared to the ages of the great families of Westeros and the age of the Wall, 300 years is really not very long ago at all.

I speculate they are somehow turning the infants into White Walkers.

I haven’t read the reads or looked up spoilers so I don’t know if this is true or not.

Plus many people in the kingdom think (correctly) that Cersei is a brotherfucker, and Loras might not want to taint his and his family’s name by marrying her.

I’m not sure of that. I think she has no objection to him, and would be delighted to get the hell out of King’s Landing as his bride, but I see nothing to suggest she’s “head over heels.”

Love love love it!

Well played.

Some but not all, on both counts.

Bloody Romans. What’ve they ever done for us, anyway?

I think it was Twain who wrote that to a European, a hundred miles is a long way, while to an American, a hundred years is a long time.
