I can see why Sansa doesn’t want to give herself to Littlefinger but it makes dynastic sense for her to marry him . Is there another Lannister brother. One K evan and Tyrrion’s brother? My husband insists there is. Qlso, is Dany going to Castey Rock like her boyfriend indicated? Seems our q u estion of who would rule if Tommen died have been answered And lastly, what good is Sam in Old Towne if there is. no communication?
Very significant glance between them. Going to be a loooong 9 months of speculation.
Which part would cause a split? Her taking the throne? If the Lannister line is not the royal line, Jaime would be king. I don’t think Jaime cares about that though.
So, important deaths this episode:
Margaery Tyrrell
Loras Tyrrell
Mace Tyrrell (I guess)
The High Sparrow
Tommen Lannister
Lancel Lannister
Grand Maester Pycell
Walder Frey
Lots to unpack. I liked it a lot, but had a few issues. The music choices felt a bit awkward at parts. Also, I’m bummed out that the Tyrrells’ deaths were so abrupt. I really liked Margaery, and it sucks that she went out like that. The Sparrows were surprisingly idiotic there, too, keeping everyone in the Sept for no good reason aside from “we said so”. Not to mention Lancel chasing a kid who was obviously trying to lure him somewhere.
So Cersei has proclaimed herself ruler of the great, big garbage fire. And now Daenerys is heading straight for her. Way to go, Cersei.
I think a good amount of time has passed. They gave the impression that it took a long time for them to prepare the fleet.
I want to believe that Varys is working with Dorne and Olenna to further Daenerys’ goals, rather than against her. He’s got to be sewing mischief for King’s Landing.
So Jon is the King in the North. I wonder if his sending Melisansdre away was his fatal flaw. It could be really bad in the wars to come. She does deserve to face justice, but perhaps her sentence should have been stayed until after she helped him fight the Night King.
Loved that scene where Daenerys named Tyrion Hand of the Queen. Go, Tyrion!
