So, Game of Thrones, a sexy, sexy show. And the books certainly do not shy from depictions of sex – although, to be honest, such depictions, while explicit, are not necessarily always arousing.

So let’s talk about who are the sexiest characters, from whatever your point of view is.

I’ll start with the women:

1. Val the Wildling:

The “Wildling Princess,” and sister of Dalla, Mance Rayder’s wife. Everybody wants her. She’s described as having exceptional breasts and hips. – from the AWOIAF Wiki:

She is a beautiful woman with blonde hair. She has pale grey eyes with high sharp cheekbones. She is slender with a full bosom. Val is resourceful, brave and capable.

Mmmm, the sexy, she is.

2. Arianne Martell:

Daughter and heir of the Prince of Dorne. She uses her wiles and her dark skin, long black hair, and curvy, curvy body to seduce Ser Arys Oakheart. Wiki description:

Arianne is buxom and beautiful, with olive skin, large dark eyes, and long black hair that falls in ringlets to the middle of her back

Very, the sexy.

3. Taena Merryweather:

A member of Margaery’s entourage who becomes Cersei’s mole. Wiki:

She is an extremely beautiful and shapely woman with black hair and large, dark eyes. Sansa considers her a sultry black-eyed beauty. Ser Jaime cannot help but notice the way she moves her hips as she walks, he thinks her every step is a seduction.

Mmmmm … nice.

4. Nymeria Sand

Arianne’s cousin and one of the many “natural” daughters of Oberyn Martell. Wiki:

Nymeria is twenty-five years old, slim and slender as a willow, with straight black hair, worn in a long braid which pulls back from a widow’s peak. She has dark eyes, high cheekbones, full lips and pale white skin. Nymeria has all the beauty that her elder sister lacks but is no less deadly

Now for the men:

6. Daario Naharis:

Tyroshi sellsword captain of the Stormcrows. So hot, that poor, lonely Daenerys cannot resist him. Wiki:

He keeps his beard cut in three prongs, all dyed blue. His eyes are blue and his curly hair is dyed blue. His mustachios are painted gold and he has a large, curving nose. He is lithe, smooth skinned, has a golden tooth and dresses in loud colors and finery. He wears a Dothraki arakh on his left hip and a Myrish stiletto on his right hip. Their hilts are a matched pair of naked women made in gold.

7. Other men: Jaime Lannister, Drogo

I would agree, but I seem to recall that Ygritte is specifically described as being not very attractive.

Yeah, I’m pretty much thinking of the TV portrayal (where, obviously, all of the female leads are pretty stunning except maybe Brienne).

Right. If you go by the TV show, everyone is hot, including characters that are specifically supposed to be ugly, like Tyrion. And Brienne on TV is really only “TV ugly.” Gwendoline Christie isn’t actually ugly.

I think I’m one of the only women out there not lusting after Theon. Alfie Allen’s got an awesome body, but I’m not fond of his face, and Theon is such a whiny character.

Throwing in a vote for Loras! And Jaime was already mentioned.

Uh, if I was a few decades older, TV version silver fox Tywin would be included.
