The Lannisters are villains because:
Cercei murdered the Hand of the King.
Jaime tossed a small child out of a tower to prevent him from talking about how…
Jaime is banging his sister Cercei.
They have a commoner boy killed for “attacking” Joffrey.
Jaime attacks the Ned, Hand of the King and kills his men.
Cercei murdered her husband the King so as to…
put Joffrey, an illigitimate heir, on the thrown.
Joffrey has proven to be a psychopathic tyrant and a coward.
Joffrey has Ned Stark put to death, which appears to be widely regarded as both strategically and politically stupid.
Tyrion is mostly treated like crap because he looks “different”.
So on and so forth.
They make be effective fuedal lords and complex characters, but they largely act in a way that is self-serving and indifferent to how their actions hurt others.
* False. I assume you’re talking about Jon Aryn, but it’s not true either way.

I think Joffrey ordered that, everyone agrees he’s horrible
In response to kidnapping. The Starks started that one and Ned wasn’t Hand at the time.
She murdered Robert to save her children
Yes, Joffrey is bad
Yes, Joffrey is bad
Yes, this is bad. I’m not sure why there are quotes around different.
Basically it boils down to Joffrey is a shit and Jaime and Cersei were more or less forced into a series of events because society didn’t approve of their love.
The thing about Game of Thrones is that it doesn’t really have heroes and villains. It has protagonists and antagonists, and many characters shift between the one and the other.
