What plant is this? It looks similar to the arum that grows in our yard. I got it from my mom’s place, and we don’t know how to care for it.

Looks like calla lily to me.
If it likes full sun it’s a calla. If it likes shade it’s arum. There are many varieties of each, and they can be similar in appearance, but they are not closely related.
Pretty sure that’s a calla. My neighbor was a major hybridizer of calla lilies.
Ran it through Picture This and it is indeed a calla lilly.
