So gas is coming down. My local has it for $3.65 per gallon for regular unleaded.
But I have seen it as low as 3.58.
What is it in your area?
As high as it’s ever been. It topped out at $4.09, and it’s STILL at $4.09.
The price goes up at the hint of a rise in the price of oil. But actually have the price of oil drop and the price does not come down.

It’s $3.74 at the cheapest stations right now around here. At the station with the really fast pumps that’s easy to get out of, it’s $3.75. It drove my mom crazy that I went to that station and spent a whole dime more.
Prices were slowly coming down over the last week, and hit $3.599 yesterday morning. Yesterday evening the usual Thursday price-jacking occurred, and it went back up to $3.899. It’ll come back down after the weekend, and barring any bad events, it will probably hit $3.549.
I saw it at $3.49.9, and can find it easily in my town at $3.53.9. In the town I work in, it’s still at $3.67.9.

Yesterday, I saw $3.499 for adulterated gas (E10) and a dime more for pure regular.
I’m taking a trip to western South Dakota in 2 weeks and don’t expect to pay under $4 in the Black Hills as last year gas was around $2.60 here in the Omaha area and the same in Mitchell, SD, but around $3-$3.10 in Rapid, Deadwood, or Custer.
What is it about the Mountain Time Zone that puts a “Kick me hard, Big Oil!” sign on its back?
$4.119. My last tank was $4.659, but I don’t buy gas that often. I live in Silicon Valley.
It dipped to $3.77 as of last Wednesday & jump to $3.89 yesterday. I guess demand must have skyrocketed or something, eh? Wait - oh the prices jump like that just before every weekend around here. That is not gouging or anything, though, is it? Sorry - slipped into cynical mode again.
Last I saw was $4.15. Supposedly a town over there’s places where it’s under $4.00 (at least at the Costco)
Last night I saw it for 3.57 and 9/10s.
Maybe it really will hit 3.50 by Labor day.

I bought gas for $3.49 on Thursday. On Friday, it jumped up to $3.59.
Prices here have dropped a lot lately. They were up to $4.30 but now are as low as $3.99 in several places. I hope this downward trend continues. I remember when they’d be one price in the morning on the way to work, and $0.05 higher by the afternoon drive home.
It is 3.49 and 9/10s now. I went into the store and it was 3.55 9/10s and when I came out it had changed. (I’m glad I didn’t buy gas *before *going in…)
I saw $3.51 and $3.53 on the way in today. That is central New Jersey* near the Shore. I was amazed that I could see those prices and think, 'Ooh, look how cheap."

$3.31 today. How odd that $3.31 seems like a great price. And I bet the prices of all the other stuff doesn’t go down in response.

Enlighten me please. What is unadulterated gas? Google is confusing me. I’ve never heard the term before. Gas with no ethanol?
