Price watch (gas)

$3.18/gal. this morning in the northern suburbs of Boston. This was a full service station that is ironically the least expensive place around. I’ve probably got it good compared to many of you. What are y’all paying for gas, and where are you?

West central Indiana. The price for regular unleaded ranges from $3.35 at the Citgo, to $3.39 at the Marathon, both of which are located in Clinton, Indiana.
At the full service station (also located in the same town), regular unleaded is $3.37.

We pay $1.14/litre I think that’s equivalent to a little over $4/gallon US.

Central Valley, California 3.79 for regular. I have seen as high as 4.03 for premium.

$3.39 at the notoriously overpriced gas station I pass by on the way to work in the burbs north of Atlanta. With a bit of searching, I could probably find $3.33 without going too far.

Suburban Baltimore, I paid $3.24 for regular over the weekend. It’s gone up already to $3.30.

I was in York, PA on Sunday night, and it the cheapest I saw was $3.35. One place was $3.41.
FWIW, I’ve been paying $4.19 for diesel for my work vehicle. Last night I paid $4.29.(Technically, I don’t pay for it; I use a corporate fleet card)

Central MA: $3.13 for regular (cash); price jumped from $3.07 yesterday.
Fasten your seatbelts-its going to get much worse!

Wait. You were in York and you didn’t call me to have a beer?
There is a Hess station on 83 that has it for 3.29 just south of Harrisburg. But it would entail getting off of 83 for me to take advantage of it so I usually just go to the store a mile down from my house and pay 3.35.

London
about $8.50 per gallon
(£1.10 per liter)

Toronto (along Dundas St West towards the 427): 1.154 CAD/L (4.29 USD/US gallon) for regular gasoline. Diesel is more expensive (1.22/L).

It’s risen quite a bit in the last few weeks, at least partly because the Canadian dollar has dropped relative to the US dollar (1 CAD now equals 0.982 USD). The rise of the Canadian dollar over the past few years has insulated Canadians from quite a bit of the price rise of fuel; I read that the US has experience a 55% price rise in the same time that Canada has experience only a 22% price rise.

It’s about 3.40 here in West Michigan. I don’t know why we are always a little above average.

Where I work, we’re at $3.819 for regular. Daly City, CA (near SF) It’s as high as $3.95 close to us, and over $4.00 in SF and in surrounding areas. Diesel is crazy - $4.29 and up in many places.

Amarillo, Texas is at $ 3.30 for regular. There are oil fields within 50 miles if this place. Since the wind is gusting up to 50 MPH today I had to drive, but I ride my bicycle to work when I can (always have, got nothing to do with gas).

The cheapest station in Santa Barbara is at $3.79 today. The more expensive ones are at around $4.03.

My last purchase was $3.29/gallon on Hwy 21 in southern Jefferson County, Missouri on April 9th. I should be good till mid-May.

I did my first-ever $3+ fillup today – $3.07/gal…39 fricking bucks to fill my tank. All I could think was “Thank God I telecommute”.

I filled up on my way to work at $3.21, which will last me at least another week. Thank god I didn’t go with the truck…

Western 'burbs of Chicago- $3.55 on the way home from breakfast.

$3.45 for regular here in central FL. My teensy little hybrid is just looking smarter and smarter…

I think you mean about $4.25 a gallon, or were you using 16-ounce liters, or 8-quart gallons?

87 octane is $3.89 here.
