Gayest 'toon character.

Are you saying that isn’t flames being shot at Mario???:eek:

Oh, I know this…
Although I wouldn’t I wouldn’t agree with you on it not being the “true sequel.” It was IMHO for the US. And Mario adopted the role of Papa… so I still thinks the Birdo theory applies. Both US and Japan have been exposed to the others sequel eventually. I just love the game because it’s the blacksheep! I can’t see your POV too.

There are more than just characters that changed in the game. TMK | Super Mario Bros. 2 Madness | From Doki Doki Panic to SMB2

I am intrigued by you Bowser theory. Perhaps they are both gay, but Bowser is just too big for Mario. So when Mar-man rejects him, Boswer captures his trophy gal with the intention of exposing Mario’s secret… out of jealous rage!

Sorry, I didn’t get much sleep,

“Although I wouldn’t agree”*

“I CAN see your POV too.”*

I’m just so tired… sorry Jeep’s Phoenix

But check out that site, some good stuff there

GRRRRRRRRR, this is the site

How about Heckle & Jeckle?
How about Starscream?

I hadn’t even thought about that.

Diff T–great site! Thanks for the correction–based on information from game ROM sites, I had been under the impression that all the characters were male. That part about the “high jumping Mama” character becoming Luigi for SMB2 was also very interesting…

…doncha think, maybe…

Piglet???

I can totally see Pooh and Piglet antique shopping together.

I don’t know about the Race Bannon-Dr. Quest thing. Are you folks forgetting the chemistry between Race and Jade? Though I do wonder if Hadji and Johnny ever fooled around.

Connie.
How about Sandy on “Daria”, Quinn’s REALLY snotty friend. That’s probably why she “hates” Quinn so much. She’s in love with her.

And Joey-Jeffy-Jamie. They’re always after Quinn, but they do it together. Perhaps a little TOO together, if you know what I mean…

Beavis and Butthead-Van Driesen had a girlfriend. They were making out on his couch, and Beavis and Butthead were spying on them through the window. I’d put my money on Mr. Buzzcut. He’s a little TOO buff and he was in the Navy, I think. Or maybe the Marines. Oh well, either way, I think he’s the one who’s gay.

Speaking that series, I only recently found out that Rabbit is supposed to be male. (Please don’t tell me I’m the only one who thought that) I always thought of rabbit as being either androgynous, or…well…a somewhat “butch” female.

I’m going to Hell for posting here, aren’t I?
Ranchoth

I don’t know about Rabbit, but my little girl had always referred to Piglet as a “she” whenever we read Pooh books together. It threw me for such a loop that I finally took the books out of her room after bedtime and searched them for a masculine pronoun used in reference to Piglet.

Finally found one.

I’ve always thought of Elmer Fudd as a raging queen.

Also, on “Home Movies” there are two little kids, one is named Perry, and the other’s name escapes me. Very, very gay.

h.

best thread in a long long time.

maybe there should be two categories:

deepest in the closet

most out

fred from scooby doo gets my deepest in the closet vote.
popeye and brutus gets my most conflicted duo vote.

and after much deliberation, snagglepuss gets my most out vote.
does anyone else find it odd that there is so much material here to work with in what is, essentially, an art form most directed at children?

Just thought of a few more:

Rocky and Bullwinkle

Natasha

Capt. Peter J. Peachfuzz

Do Mr. Peabody and Sherman count?

Ye gods, was everybody on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show gay?

I think Piglet liked Pooh, but Pooh liked Tigger, and Tigger had a deep unrequited love for Rabbit.

As others have inferred…

Pepe Le Pew couldn’t keep his hands off male pussy.

Asterix and Obelix - the two Gauls certainly seemed to have something going on. Occasionally they would be love-struck by a pretty maiden but nothing would happen - they would just go back to normal by the next frame…

My votes:

Dick Dastardly (the mustache, I think)
the Hooded Claw (“Perils of Penelope Pitstop”). Voiced by Paul Lynde. 'Nuff said.
