GEICO, you must be out of your mind.

Well, as far as my evil days behind the wheel are concerned, they are LONG over. That was back in 1996, when I was immortal and stupid. A concussion from a very hard collision cured me of both of those conditions. Since then, other than one speeding ticket (for ten or less over, BTW), I have been clean. In fact, Pennsylvania doesn’t even know I exist anymore, since I’m now completely off the rolls.

Should people be made to pay for sins of the past forever? In the case of car insurance, I don’t think so. I’m certainly not high risk anymore, not with my currently clean record, new wife, and soon-to-be-born son, whom I included on the questionnaire just to get a good estimate. Needless to say, what I got was NOT a good estimate.

Just out of curiosity, I called Progressive last night. $1032 for six months, full coverage for two cars. Not bad.

Robin

Multi-car discount (2), good driver, full-coverage 100-300K, I pay 1400 per year.

Hang in there, Airman, when you hit 30 with 2 kids, your rates will drop like a rock.

Airman, have you tried Progressive?

BTW: Angie and I have GEICO and the insurance on our '89 Dodge Shadow is about $650 for six months.
