Geographical Parameters II

Rastahomie’s recent thread inspired this one. It’s even simpler (and there may have been a thread like this already).

How many countries have you been in?

In my case, it’s pretty low - two; the United States and Canada.

Um, not too many for a supposedly jet-set groupie like myself:

USA
Canada
Mexico
England
Sweden
Finland
Holland
France

Jeez, looks like the quarter-finals for the World Cup, eh? Except there’s no Germany or Brazil…

I’m not the most traveled of people, but I’ve had the chance to get around:

US
England
Scotland
France
Switzerland
Italy
Greece
Israel
Turkey
Egypt

Still on the list: Equador, Brazil, Morrocco, Germany, Austria, Russia, Ireland

US
Canada
Norway
Sweden
Finland
Denmark
Germany
the Netherlands
Belgium
Luxembourg
France
Switzerland

…and I’ve also been at Keflavik Aiport, Iceland, but only to change planes, so counting Iceland would be cheating.

USA
Mexico
Cayman Islands
Jamaica
England
France
Belgium
Gibraltar
Morocco
Germany
Italy
Austria
Switzerland
Spain
Japan
Korea (only at the airport to change plames)

The United States and Canada.

Canada
England
Holland
Belgium
Luxembourg
France
Italy
Greece
Israel
Egypt

Never the USA, oddly enough.

Oops, forgot Monaco and The Netherlands .

I’m kind of a stick-in-the-mud–I’ve only made it to the easy ones: USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Australia
New Zealand
UK (England Scotland Wales)
Germany
Netherlands
Phillipines
Taiwan
US
Canada
Vietnam
Tonga
Thailand

US
Mexico
Canada
Bahamas
Cayman Islands
Saudi Arabia
Iraq
Kuwait
Greece
Ireland

(the last two only count if you consider a flight change a “visit”)

U.S.
Canada
Mexico
Belgium
Netherlands
Luxembourg
France
Switzerland
Germany (Including the Free State of Bavaria)
Italy (missed San Marino)
Vatican City
Austria
Liechtenstein
Spain (missed Andorra)
Portugal
Denmark (in Sweden for 20 minutes, on a lark, but I don’t count it)
U.K. (England and Wales, only)
Ireland
Barbados
Grenada
Venezuela
Netherland Antilles (if that can be counted separately from the Netherlands)

U.S.
Mexico
Dominican Republic
France
Austria
Hungary
Germany
Switzerland
Bahamas
Spain
U.K.
Ireland

… and the Netherlands, for an hour and a half, in the airport.

Next on the list are probably Australia and New Zealand.

I’m almost embarrassed to admit it, but I have never left the USA.

I’ve seen Canada, but we didn’t cross the bridge.

This should change next year, though, when I’m planning to go to Europe.

Canada
U.S.

And even my trip to the US was when I was a kid. I always imagined my 20’s travelling, but when I got pregnant at 18, I wound up not going anywhere. Hey, there’s still my 40’s.

US
Canada
Mexico
Honduras
El Salvador
Panama
Guatemala

Maybe one of these days I make it off this continent…

Let’s revise this to make it more fair for the civilians, o.k.?
How many countries have you been to without benefit of having been sent there by the Govt.?

Canada
England
France
Mexico
Sweden

US
Mexico
Germany
