Now George Michael. 2016 needs to stop being such a dick.
Yeesh.
He was just 53. That’s dangerously close to being my age.
Good fucking God, really?!
Such a great talent. I wasn’t a huge fan, but really respected him as a musician.
And already the last Christmas jokes are up.
I just want this year over already.
Tough year. Not a great fan of the music but he had a wicked sense of humour - the original carpool karaoke: George Michael in James Corden's first Carpool Karaoke for Comic Relief - YouTube
Wait, what?
Wake me up; I can’t believe he’s gone gone.
Who “passes away peacefully” at age 53? Did he have some terminal disease?
No, it would probably have been self administered …
Oh no. RIP George. Thanks for the fine music.
2016: Come along, Carrie
Carrie: Go pick on somebody less likely.
2016: Challenge accepted!
Rip 1963-2016
I’ll never hear “Last Christmas” the same way again, and no, that’s not a joke.
RIP, George.
He’s been in and out of hospitals for several years. Pneumonia in 2011 that was very serious. Three weeks in the hospital.
He collapsed in 2014 and was rushed to the hospital.
I guess his luck ran out. 2016 has been brutal for celebrities. Death put a Whammy on him.
RIP
I suspect either drug related, AIDS. Or maybe he had cancer or so e other disease and kept it secret.
2016-The year the music died.
“Waiting for that Day” was one of my favorites in '91, right after graduating high school, along with “Praying for Time.”
Unbelievable. RIP, George.
His comic relief bit, carpool karaoke with James Corden was very funny. That just came out a few months ago and Michael seemed fine.
The George Michael karaoke dates to 2011, long before Corden went to the USA. Fwiw, I mention it in post #3 above.
