She wanted it. Look at how she was showing off her Alsace.
Why would they bother with actual facts? I don’t see how that would suit their purposes at all.
I just saw a guy on TV swear that gay soldiers will sneak up on sleeping GI’s and suck them off. I am not making this up. I couldn’t make this up.
And the Balkans a few times, but there they did use Greece!
Making the FRC look sane, we have American’s Survival Inc. claiming that repealing DADT will lead to our servicemembers being tainted with disease-ridden gay blood.
I don’t know if Episcopalians have confession, Poly, but you better go…
Episcopalians don’t believe in Hell, just sort of an eternal Pledge Week.
From what I’ve heard, yes. I recall reading a news story a while back about American female soldiers in Iraq being told to be armed at all times and to travel in groups due to the high risk of rape by their fellow soldiers. And that some were suffering from dehydration do to avoiding the water supplies, because that was a favored place for rapists to lie in wait. In general from everything I’ve read over the years sexual assault of various degrees by American male soldiers on female soldiers is pretty common.
I can’t recall ever hearing of homosexual assaults though.
Was the guy Eric Massa?
Dude! I love Johnny Cash!
Gotta love this logic:
Of course, not repealing the policy means that gay soldiers are mostly in the closet and might be… expected to donate blood to other soldiers.
Note to Whackjobs: THE GAYS ARE ALREADY IN THE MILITARY! This just lets them be open about thier sexuality. So if it isn’t happening now it won’t be after either.
Yes, but being gay doesn’t give you AIDS.
Being openly gay gives you AIDS. Duh!
Of course they are. If they weren’t I wouldn’t have all these DVDs showing scenes of where the soldiers are drinking beers and then one thing leads to another and suddenly they’re all having sex with each other, would I?
If you follow the link to the “study” cited in the OP’s article, it says just that.
I think I’ve seen that movie, except it was sororities and women.
Reading further in the article this seems basically right. The classes of things that he was calling rape, would seem to be more along the lines of fratboy pranks (teabagging and the like). Definately things that should be discouraged, but not indications of any homosexual orientation.
I once saw a handheld video of a group of soldiers gathered around the bunk of a sleeping troopmate, who was sporting an erection. The were, in all honesty, videotaping themselves poking it to see if it moved, and giggling. DADT or not, I’m pretty sure that when you gather beer and young men en mass, something will happen to the first sleeping man, and it will involve someone’s genitals.
I have often thought that the reason some heterosexual service men are against openly gay service men among their ranks is they are afraid gay service men will treat them the way they have treated their female comrades.
This story comes complete with a meaningless comment by Retired Colonel Dick Black.
Are we sure this isn’t like a viral web ad for Army Boys Gone Wild or something?
