Oh hell yes! I hate that. I want to walk over the hood. I’ve never had that happen when I was walking (see: Nobody walks in Mesa(exceptions)) so I am just an armchair bitcher, but I’ve seen it so much driving I want to get out and bang on their window and ask them what the fuck they think those lines are for, dammit. But I don’t (see: Mesa, open carry allowed).
Look at the intersection I linked to. The intersection is typical for Mesa. There is a white line a few feet before the crosswalk that you are supposed to stop at. i don’t know where these idiots out here learned to drive (if at all…) but I have seen cars waiting with their front wheels PAST the intersection edge of the crosswalk! And, as often as not, when the light changes, they sit there for 5-10 seconds.
How do these people function in life??
