fair- started off rough, but improved somewhat.
Did you wear braces as a kid?
No. I had a non-removable retainer for my upper set of teeth for about 6 months when I was around 8–it was behind my teeth so it wasn’t visible–it did get annoying when eating though. I couldn’t imagine wearing braces.
Did any horror movies scare you as a kid? or still to this day?
Weirdly, the movie that scared me more than any other was Event Horizon.
Did any video game ever truly scare you?
Heh… Same here. Event Horizon had some pretty disturbing imagery… Quite a bit more than I was expecting.
As for video games, Resident Evil… At least, I think it was RE. Only game that has ever had me on edge the entire time I was playing and actually made me jump a few times.
Have you ever uploaded a video to YouTube?
No. I have played with the idea from time to time, but never bothered to do anything about it.
Ever tried “snus”?
I’ve tried regular chewing tobacco (yuck, by the way) but not snus.
Do you smoke cigars?
No. I don’t use any tobacco products, and never hope to.
Have you had to sit through many boring seminars?
Not yet. There will be several in the future though, I’m sure.
Ever purchased an item from an infomercial?
Nooooooooooooo - never.
Do you still have any stuffed animals around?
Yes, a few.
Do you like sushi?
Yes, as an occasional treat. Everyday Morning and California Roll are my favorites. The sushi place I tend to go to also has a great lobster bisque.
Do you like cream-based soups?
Some (especially New England clam chowder and cream of mushroom), but I eat more water-based soups.
Have you been to an auction (real-life, not just bidding on line) in the last month?
No. The last auction I went to in person was several years ago.
Have you ever gotten a really good bargain at an auction (online or in-person)?
Yes. Ebay. I used to pick up $50 cell phone batteries for about $2. I also got tons of electronic gear for 1/10 the price I’d pay if I purchased at retail. I’ve never been to a real-life auction as a buyer, just a tag-along.
Do you Ebay?
No. My sister and mom are both really into eBay, though; for awhile, my sister made a killing by reselling ceramics she got dirt-cheap at a local pottery outlet store.
Have you ever made pottery?
Apart from that really ugly ashtray I made in Kindergarten - no.
Are you taking a long vacation this summer?
God no. I’m self-employed, and I can’t afford to miss out on work. With the way things are going, I can’t imagine taking more than a 4-day weekend.
Have you ever worn Crocs?
No. I’m the only one in my family without a pair.
Do you own more than a dozen pairs of shoes?
Nope, only a few old pairs and the sneakers I wear every day.
