The ftp didnt work for me with geocities, oh well but I did my page again, not like its much of a page but anyways its in the beginning stages and I’m trying.

I’m really having trouble uploading my website. I’m using Frontpage 2000. I followed the tutorial and when that didn’t work I tried connecting via ftp. Here is what it said:

Any idea how to upload a website?
I selected a domain name that isn’t my Straight Dope screen name. Is that going to be a problem? I haven’t done anything to my site if it is. The name I picked isn’t currently anyone else’s name.
Snooooopy: the TMHP isn’t connected with the SDMB in any way. You can use any name you want to. You don’t have to be an SDMB member to use it, either.
cherry and Ell: FTP is only available if you upgrade to a paid account. To upload your site, go to your main menu > work on my site > power tools > file manager and choose upload. It has a little box where you tell it how many files you want to upload at once, then it gives you that many upload slots at a time.
