Getting an MP3 file from Tweet or Facebook post

Many years ago, in the days of DOS, I was pretty good at file conversions and the like. Nowadays, I pretty much suck at it.

I’ve read that people are using the “Lock Him Up” chant from the World Series game as their ringtone. I’d like it to be my ringtone. I can find AV files of people chanting on Twitter and Facebook. How do I extract the audio portion and convert it to an MP3 so I can use it as my ringtone?

I like ffmpeg to extract streams. It will also convert it between formats but I recommend just leaving the audio the way it is (unless it absolutely must be mp3)

I use Audacity to copy audio, since I’m likely to want to trim or otherwise edit it anyway.

This site has the clip you’re looking for, though. https://impeachmentscore.com/pages/links.html

Thanks! I appreciate the info on converting files, but for now I just downloaded the MP3 file. Once I send it to my phone, I’ll have a ringtone to make me smile.
