We have a couple of giant pandas on loan from China at the Chiang Mai Zoo in the North. The wife and I were looking at them just a couple of weeks ago. Unbelievably cute.
I just read that 1 of the 3 missing Pandas from the Wolong reserve has turned up fine. The other two are probably ok and will show up at some point.

I saw a photo in the Chinese press of these tourists climbing up a makeshift ladder to get back to their buses.
Amazing as the Wolong reserve is only about 10km from the epicenter.
