The pedestrian bridge is very cool, and made me think there was a bit of class coming to my old hometown. The Freddy hands make me cringe, though. Hideous.

Those are truly ugly. I’m thinking more Edward Scissorhands than Freddy Krueger. What’s wrong with a nice, simple sign to let you know you’ve travelled into another state?
I have to say I don’t think it’s the man’s finest work, but he does have some really cool pieces on his web site.
They just need to add a sign saying:
