I know you were all waiting with bated breath . Now you know exactly what to get me (or your favorite Lovecraftophile) for Christmas: The Shadow Over Innsmouth CD and prop set. I adore the fact that it includes a matchbook from the Gilman Hotel and a map of Innsmouth scribbled hastily on a First National grocery bag.
There’s a bunch of cool stuff in that store, actually. And these are the folks who produced The Call of Cthulhu silent film, so I trust them for quality. Also, the guys at HP Podcraft said the Innsmouth CD was good, and also had an actor from it reading the story for their podcast, and he was great.
I’d also love an Innsmouth High Swim Team shirt!
An Elder thong, not so much. But if it’s your thing, they have those too!
but, without the thong how do you keep the shoggoths out of your pants
<giggle> I actually got the Call of Cthulhu movie a few years ago, and was thinking about getting Shoggoth on the Roof for mrAru. We are both Lovecraft fans. I had a Miskatonic U alum sticker on my previous car.
A few months ago, I sent my Hannukah list to my sister. Along with the other stuff, I included a link to The Music Of Eric Zahn. I requested that my brother in law, the music teacher and professional sax player, read the story then compose and play some suitable music using the violin setting on his synthesizer.
I now, of course, want near everything at the linked site.
I recently crocheted Cuddly Cthulhu for a Lovecraft fan.
He keeps it on the dashboard of the school bus he drives. Keeps threatening to tie pink ribbons on the tentacles, so maybe he isn’t actually into Lovecraft.
