Yeah, now I think of it, I believe the breathalyzer thing is true in the UK as well.

I mean, I can accept that the girl didn’t handle the situation well, and I can also accept the argument that the passenger’s behaviour would have suggested that further outbreaks of assholery were a distinct possibility. But the idea that it’s inherently dangerous to drive while wearing a bikini top because, you know, men just can’t help but rip those things off at the earliest opportunity? I don’t buy it.

I wouldn’t be so worried about people ripping off a bikini.

But it doesn’t strike me as being particularly appropriate driving wear though. Same way - I wouldn’t be willing to go driving in a string - but that’s not because I feel at particular danger of someone ripping it off me…

But…in what way is it dangerous to wear a bikini? I mean, I basically agree with you - I won’t be driving half naked any time soon. That’s because of personal modesty though, not because I think I’d be risking anyone’s life.

Of course, maybe my passengers simply can’t control themselves and will be forced by their basest of instincts to rip my clothes off. I mean, a guy can dream, right?
