And I’m so jealous of y’all who don’t wear foundation and wash your face with soap! My skin looks pretty good but without diligent attention, it looks horrible and behaves bahahadly.
Maybe I should’ve named the thread product junkies–I didn’t mean to imply that any of you weren’t feminine if you didn’t use all that stuff!!
Perfume - Ginger Essence by Origins or Comptoire Sud Pacifique “Motu”
Lipstick brand - mostly Prescriptives or Revlon in something nudish.
Hair color - none
Face wash - Origins face wash
Foundation - I make my own tinted moisturizer by using half Revlon Color Stay in “light” and half Prescriptives All You Need moisturizer…it looks very natural and not heavy!
Mascara - L’Oreal Voluminous mascara…This is my absolute favorite and I’ve tried every (and I mean every) brand!
perfume: I usually just wear lotions/body sprays and adding perfume would be overkill - I like Warm Vanilla Sugar, Jasmine Vanilla, and Sun-Ripened Raspberry from Bath & Body Works
lipstick brand/shade: Lipstick makes me look like a little girl who put on too much makeup, so I fill in my whole lips with cheap lipliner and put cheap shimmery gloss over them. Lasts longer, too. For special occassions, though, Clinique in Pink Chocolate.
at-home hair color: Natural redhead, baby
face wash: Regular old Noxema
foundation: CG Continuous Wear in Soft Honey, with CG Fresh Look in Medium Beige for under the eyes, topped off with Revlon Color Stay powder in Medium
mascara: Maybelline Great Lengths in Black
lotion: Clean&Clear moisturizer for the face, a variety of Bath & Body works lotions for the body (scent depends on the mood)
I get into this sort of thing…I suppose I’m high-maintenance!
I like to pretend I’m a tomboy who just doesn’t care about this stuff, but it’s a lie.

[li]perfume: Fresh brand, in Violet Moss[/li][li]lipstick brand/shade: I can’t stand lipstick, so if I need color on my lips I use Lorac’s lip stain in Sheer Rapture[/li][li]at-home hair color/shade: none[/li][li]face wash: Neutrogena face scrub with the little beads in it[/li][li]foundation: I mix Almay’s Skin Stays Clean (or whatever it’s called) in Pale with Prescriptives oil-free in Fresh Cream[/li][li]mascara: usually none…I just curl my lashes (they’re long and dark to begin with). I do wear eyeliner – Clinique has this eyeliner that you paint on with water and a little brush…I wear that in Natural Black [/li][li]lotion: Neutrogena oil-free with SPF 15 or Aveeno SPF 15 with soy[/li][/ul]
