My cable guide shows a rerun from last season next week. I notice a lot of shows (like Vampire Diaries) are taking a week off around now. I guess so they can have enough eps in the can to run during November sweeps.
Just watched it last night. Overall I thought it was good, especially Brittany, and I liked most of the songs a lot. However I think Kurt’s voice is too smooth and silky for “Le Jazz Hot.” That song needs to be sung with a bit more growl, IMO.
But his final duet with Rachel was excellent.
I haven’t seen Rocky Horror since 1986 or so, but I found out that it’s available through Netflix’s instant queue. So I’ll make sure I watch it again before the next episode.

I think Britt really did care about Artie. Her pushing that meatball with her nose was one of the saddest things ever. I’ve come to like Britt. I don’t think she’s ever been as mean as Satan or Quinn, and seems to be just along for the ride on some of the Cheerio misadventures and not actively malicious.
Despite the breadth and depth of her sexual experience, I’d say she’s pretty innocent. In fact, I think her promiscuity is an aspect of that. She likes people, sex feels good, so why not enjoy it? Maybe I’m misjudging her, but she doesn’t seem manipulative. Keep in mind who it was that was telling Artie he was being used - that’s right. It was Satan. Not exactly known for her truthfulness.
Well, yeah, but my options are limited. I don’t think they’re still doing midnight showings around here.

Also, I’m wondering if the scene would have been winked in the same manner if Kurt and Finn were the players?
Completely gratuitous and if it were Finn and Kurt probably not liked as much, but I’m ok with that because two girls making out is always welcome in my book.
Although I loved them sneaking in some adolescent gay lov’n, I wondered about that too. Cute young girls, ohyeah, no problems with that; hunky young men-more threatening perhaps? I’ll leave the queer studies analysis to others more learned than I.

I think she’s intelligent and ambitious, not to mention hot. Well she’s too skinny, especially next to Brittany, but that olive skinned, almond eyes, exotic face . . .
