Not loving the bangs, but she didn’t seem too thin. Only watched it once though, and was really distracted by bang dislike to notice anything else.

says he died in Desert Storm, so yeah, the timeline is quite fishy. I’d suggest that Finn just got held back a few times and is 20, but I’m pretty sure they said something about him being 16, and that’s what the profile on the page says.
Probably just some writer goofed and thought the Gulf War was later than it was.
Perhaps it’s been edited since your post: The current version of the relevant line reads “Finn’s father died while on army duties in the Middle East, so his mother raised him doing the best she could.”

It does say that but it also says, “It is revealed that Finn is the son of single mother, as his father was killed in Operation Desert Storm when he was very young.”
Yeah, you need to read down a little to get the Desert Storm part.
I just watched the first couple episodes again, and yeah, Finn says that his dad died in the First Gulf War, when he was just a little kid. Per Wiki, that war ended in February 1991, which would put Finn at a minimum of age 19 in 2010. However, last season he said he was 16.
Also, he gives Quinn his old blanket, which he says was his last gift from his father, that he carried it around everywhere etc. I’m thinking that means he was 2 or 3 then when his father died, putting him at 21 or 22 in 2010.
Definitely a goof on the writers’ part.
