For those who don’t already know, it is a play on “peckerhead”. According to the Urban Dictionary, a peckerhead is
“A person of douche-like qualities. Such as someone with an obnoxious attitude.”
I can’t claim credit for coining the term. That goes to one of my brothers, who is known as Qtec80 elsewhere on the internet.

Yes, yes, very droll. I’m sure that if there were any Beck fans here they’d be feeling the sting of the rapier wit the nickname invokes.
Shall the other side now fire a volly back by suggesting that Michael Moore fans be called Moorons? I’m sure there might be two or three people who are fans of Moore here too.

A lot of them (most?) already call themselves teabaggers, that might make them impervious to this type of insult.

I think it’s safe to say almost none of them call themselves that.
Me neither, but when people pit Moore there’s generally a poster or two who defends him beyond just getting upset that someone inevitably refers to him as a fat fuck.
There is no comparison between Moore and Beck. That’s a false equivalency. Moore may be polemic, but he’s not a raving lunatic like Beck is.
