I’m afraid you do not RC; at current consumption rates there are 50 years of cheaply accessible reserves and 150-200 years of expensive reserves (cites below). I love the “something else will present itself”

These equations always use current consumption rates, though. Suppose we put a quarter of all the Chinese and a quarter of all the Indians in Lincoln Navigators in the next 25 years. How are our fuel supplies going to hold up then?

Actually, in Europe, France is the exception rather than the norm. Moreover the trend is towards a a lesser use of nuclear power in Europe, due to the concerns of environementalists. For instance, Germany has completely stopped building nuclear power plants and, with older plants closing, should be nuclear-free in the future.
