Glow-in-the-dark Braaaiiinnns!

I just noticed something…

the DVD cover art on my copy of The Return of the Living Dead glows in the dark, the front cover art of the standing male and female Zombies and the tombstone and the “A real scream for chiller fans” at the bottom, as well as the spine lettering, and the Resurrection Cemetary arch on the back cover glow when exposed to light

Mundane, and pointless, I’ve had the DVD for years, but never noticed the cover was GID…

And I thought this was going to be about the article in the new issue of Wired, where they have made mouse neurons photosensitive (shine blue light on them to start signalling, yellow to stop) and photoemissive (they emit green light when signalling). The idea is now that one can turn then on and off and also (write data) and see what they are doing (read data), thus enabling hookup to prosthetics.

This was apparently a further development of the glow-in-the-dark rabbits of a couple of years ago.)
