We’re staffed for 15 COL/rep/week but frequency is down to about 8. 8!! And it’s been there for over a year. I used to say that at least this job is better than being unemployed. But now it feels like I’m unemployed, and you’re just paying me to keep this chair warm! Can’t you at least let me go home, put us on half days until things pick up, sometime in 2008. Anything? And why in the hell are we still open for 12 hours when the work is All. Done. in the first 4?
I just can’t deal with this. I need a new gig. Can’t I at least have some time off with full pay to work on a second career that will at least keep me busy?
And Frank. The coffee. It STINKS. It tastes like arsenic!
Could you translate this into English, please?
Each rep is expected to work an average of 15 wrecks per week and based on an average of the last 3 years’ loss frequency we’ve got enough reps on staff to do just that. Only all of last year and all of this year so far loss frequency has been down to about 50% of the 3 year average. In short, Underwriting is doing their job and only approving and retaining quality business, but the downside is that none of our customers are smashing into stuff. That makes for a boring life in the world of auto claims. Yes, you read that right. A dull job is getting BORING too! I’m searching the inboxes for 4 different states (each with wildly different insurance laws/procedures) just to find some work and still I must Dope!
And the coworkers on either side of me are SMOKIN’ hot–it’s getting hard to stay professional I tell ya!
