Please mods, consider mentioning in the posting FAQ that any links to nudity of any kind is greatly frowned upon or something to that effect. I did read the FAQ when I signed up and if I had seen any mention of the sort we certainly would not be having this discussion.
Hey Kumquat, is it really petty bullshit? Or is it a calm and rational discussion of the rules of the board regarding certain posting behavior? I for one have been enlightened through reading this thread and I am better prepared to keep my ass out of trouble here in the future. If you find this thread to be petty bullshit you are welcome to butt the hell out (IMHO)

So there’s a two-click rule? Ya gotta click twice before getting to a boobies-related link? Ya gotta be WARNED twice that there will, in fact, be boobies there? The first warning, coupled with the first required click, is a buffer of some sort, the second required clicking there to make sure an accidental click isn’t the cause of a problem?
The thread title clearly stated “Boobies” and “Nudity”, and a click was required to open it. A second click was required to see the picture.

Phnord- the general rule is two clicks between any part of the SDMB and the potentially offensive content. But I’ll hand it to you, it’s pretty fuzzy and more unknown than I had thought.
And for God’s sake, the staff let us get away with a lot here, without letting the place turn into AOL… is drawing a line somewhere really so bad?
