I assume js_africanus has seen a thread with links to willies that hasn’t been closed.
He should have reported the other one, then. I’m sure links to nudity are only rarely condoned, if ever.
The funny part is that if I recall correctly, it was Coldfire who posted the penis link. If the darn search function were working properly right now, I’d link the thread, but it was recent (in the past week, I believe).

Just to be clear, I don’t have a dog in this fight; I don’t care about nudity per se, whether male or female. I just ask that links be clearly labeled as such, so I don’t get in trouble at work.
Come to think of it, maybe that was the issue…Coldfire’s thread was clearly labeled.
Nope, I had a thread closed because I had linked to a post on a message board that had made me mad. Even though I posted a warning, Lynn Bodoni still warned me not to post links containing nudity again. Granted, it was closed because it was a link to another board, but I recieved the warning nonetheless.
(It was a mature films forum. They advertised porn movies with nudity on the cover on the page.)
P.S. I don’t have a dog in this fight either, just stating my experience with the rules.

I understand the confusion.
The distinction is not that I’m allowed to post nudity, and you guys aren’t. It’s also not between penii and boobs, obviously.
The question is, whether or not the linked picture at hand is in any way relevant to the topic. Now, I’ll fully admit that in my example (the thread can be found here), the topic of discussion was hardly scientific. But the picture I linked to did add value to the thread, in that the whole OP was about that compromising (for the mayor at hand) picture. Also, you’ll note that I clearly warned the reader that male frontal nudity would follow if they clicked the link.
In the case of the now closed boobs thread, the OP just posted a link to someone else’s joke (presumably). He didn’t post a link to naked breasts because some sort of ongoing debate would warrant it: he posted them for a laugh. If a laugh’s the only reason to post nude stuff, that’s gratuitous nudity for you right there. It’ll get closed, most likely, and it’ll earn you a warning.
And as always, folks, there’s the golden rule: WHEN IN DOUBT, ASK A MODERATOR BEFORE POSTING.
This thread is closed, as it should have been in ATMB, and is answered now anyway.
