God is a Male Chauvanistic Pig and That is why I hate him

I have to shave every day. That cannot be worse than a little once a month irritation

messed up the meaning of my last post - but you know what I mean

Nah, no dirty creepy feeling here. Sure, it’s kind of inconvenient, but I also feel more energy at that time, often, like I could do anything and nobody had better dare stand in my way. I can’t sign in on the childbirth or the deflowering, as I haven’t done either yet, but in general, I enjoy being a woman.

God also granted you the ability to have a child grow in your body, and to have new live be created out of your very own flesh. That is a privelege I will never know. One could make a long list of pros and cons for both sexes, but in the end, the only thing that needs to change is your attitude towards life, which frankly, is in need of an overhaul.

Hating God for your inconveniences is a completely selfish and utterly futile attempt at understanding Him. There are millions upon millions of women who suffer more pain than you, yet completely love God. The real question here is why you possess such a negative view of life…

OK if you want to talk sin, check out Genesis. Eve ate the apple and so was cursed by God.

If you want to talk biology, you menstruate monthly if the egg-o’-the-month is not fertilized. It hurts, but well, get over it. EVERY other woman on the PLANET goes through the same thing. Find something constructive to do rather than whine.

Lovey - when you say “dirty, creepy feeling” are you talking about a physical one or an emotional one?

Because (a) I don’t feel dirty or creepy physically during menstruation, I have good personal hygience and I find women’s sanitary products more than sufficient to cope with the whole experience.

(b) emotionally, I don’t feel dirty or creepy either. Pain and pissed-off feelings aside, I actually feel “cleaner” and healthier because it’s a form of shedding and renewal, and having regular menstruation is one sign that your health is OK.

Yes, God is a Man!!! And, unfortunately for you women he created you right after his first prostate exam.
So close to Jesus he and I share a joint checking account…Pres

Someone put the funny mushrooms in her salad again…

Please note that Lovey’s location says that she’s in India; therefore her upbringing could have had a lot to do with her attitude.

Or you could be continously pregnant, or at least trick the body into thinking so.

Yeah, we’ve heard it. Again and again. Every time there’s a discussion like this.
FWIW, prostate cancer tends to strike at a much later age. What you need to examine are the rates of death from the two cancers. because the men might be so old they die of something else first.

Yeah, and don’t forget about the wage gap, rape, the glass ceiling, domestic abuse, higher poverty rates, deadbeat dads and abortion clinic bombers. Life is a bowl of cherries.

Some “interesting” fantasies you have. Is this the right forum to discuss them in?
But go ahead and take your chances. You might come back as a woman in a third-world village. That will give you a chance to see, up close and personal, all those “advantages.”

So does breast cancer, so the same caveat applies.

Cancer in general tends to be a disease of old people.

All kinds of statistics at the National Cancer Institute.

I’m surprised that Runs with Scissors is the only one who brought up the fact that the OP is in India. We don’t have enough information, but she may not believe in the same God that most people in the US do. Also, my period is easy and clean because of the advantages of being in the US. I have no idea what it’s like living in India, or if all people there have access to the things (like tampons and good OTC painkillers) we do here.

Also, some cultures do tell their women that menstruation is dirty and shameful.

Does anyone know how old Lovey is?

My period made me feel “creepy and dirty” when I was a younger teenager. My hormones were going crazy and I hated the things my body was doing. By the time I was 18 or so I was over it and my period doesn’t even phase me now.

I won’t say “creepy and dirty”, but I will say uncomfortable and messy-in that way, it’s gross and damn inconvenient.

I can’t answer your second question, but I’ll agree that I feel kinda dirty and creepy during my period. Let me clarify what I mean by “dirty and creepy” in case you mean something else: I, too, have good personal hygiene, but I still feel unclean until my period is over. It’s heavy, it’s messy, it smells, and I have a pad in my underwear. As far as creepy, I feel out-of-sorts during my period. I’m bloated, I’m overly tired, I’m crampy, and for whatever reason, my inner thighs feel weird during my period (almost like they’re rubbery where they attach to my body, I can’t explain it better than that. And it is a creepy feeling. I hate it!)

There are worse problems in the world of course, but yeah…

Clawsofcatt: Yeah, we’ve heard it. Again and again. Every time there’s a discussion like this

Yes you have, and your reply sounds very much the reply that men hear all the time, i can almost hear the SO WHAT tone in your voice. What would be your reaction if a man answered the same way concerning breast cancer, or rape?

Look up the threads on rape, for example “To those who say rape is never ignored,” and you get all kinds of men dismissing rape as a minor irritant.
As for that old prostate argument – breast cancer can kll women at a very young age. Most men who get prostate cancer are so old that they eventually die of something else before the cancer gets to them. That is a major difference – getting terminal cancer when your twenty or non-terminal cancer when your 80.

ClawsofCatt -

If you aren’t going to read the responses, at least drop out of a thread.

Most women who get breast cancer are elderly. Most people who get most kinds of cancer are elderly. Cancer tends to be a disease of old age.

As far as this piece of paranoid lunacy -

  • far from “all kinds”, there wasn’t a single one.

No one said that ‘rape is never ignored’. No one dismissed rape as ‘a minor irritant’.

It is called a ‘straw man’ argument. It’s stupid, and it makes you look bad.

Or in your case, I guess it has to be a ‘straw woman’.

I often envy women.

  1. They don’t have to get drafted. They don’t have to fight and die on the battlefield like men do.

  2. They are much less violent than men.

  3. Women live longer.

  4. They can have multiple orgasms.

  5. You want a date and you are any good looking at all? You can probably find one fairly easily. There are probably lots of men who would love to take you out on an all expenses paid date. Furthermore, you probably don’t even have to ask. A guy will probably ask you out. In our society, it’s the male who usually initiates things. You don’t have to suffer as much pain and humiliation of rejection if you want to find somebody as a male like me would.

  6. Look at your bodies. They are so pretty! Much nicer looking than a mans body IMHO. Men actually pay big bucks to look at naked women! How often do women pay to look at naked men? It just doesn’t happen as much.

  7. You perpetuate the species! We would not be around without you! Thank you! When Human Cloning becomes viable, you won’t even need men any more to procreate.
