I couldn’t have put it better myself. “Contrived outrage” may not be a marketing strategy I’d advocate, but I guess it works for them.

A spokesperson for GoDaddy saysthey’re working on a new ad to run in the Superbowl. Right. Produce a new ad in four days to run in a $4 million time slot.:rolleyes:

I’m sure the commercial was only one of many that were pitched to GoDaddy.

I went with “Other.” GoDaddy pulls this stunt every year. They produce an over the top Super Bowl ad and get free publicity in the silly week leading up to the game. It usually involves scantily clad women.
