The OP was clearly saying that Chinese people make poor products. His focus should have been, companies who build their stuff in China happen to have shoddy quality control. You can’t blame that on the people. If the quality controls were set higher, poor-quality stuff wouldn’t get through.
Everybody since then seems to have it straight - China-based companies, like many other nations, happen to make poor stuff. This is not racist. Saying the Chinese people are solely at fault is.
It’s only two people’s fault: supply, the company who makes them, and demand, the people who buy them.
Do I need to make the font larger? Could I underline the relevant words? Could I train a team of itinerant chipmunks to sing the point to you in an amusing, harmonic, yet basically educational manner? Or is it obvious enough, already?
My post was specifically referring to the shoes I bought and pitted the company responsible. You’re the one who is generalizing it to include all products.
Why limit it to China-based companies? I don’t think it’s impossible to find examples of well-made products coming from Chinese companies that have higher production values, larget budgets, better materials, etc. Similarly, I don’t think it’s impossible to find examples of poorly-made products coming from companies (in any country) that have low production values, skinflint budgets, shoddy materials, etc.
The problem is with crappy products made on a shoestring budget that’s sold to people looking for a “bargain.” The countries of origin and the ethnicity of the people involved is not a factor.
That’ll be a “joke”, dear heart. I realise I didn’t use a winky smiley, but frankly, it wasn’t terribly difficult and I charitably assumed you could cope.
You apparently posted this because you think it helps you, but for your edification I have again bolded the relevant parts to indicate that it was in fact the people using factories with poor QA that the OP was pitting. If it still isn’t clear, I have those chipmunks just ready and waiting.
And exactly where in the ever-loving fuck did I do that, hmm? I mean, it’s apparent that creative reading is a passion of yours, but I’m really stumped as to where I fictionalised anything that anyone said.
