Goddamn Chinese-made CRAP!

I’m doing the exact fucking opposite! When voltaire tried the same trick I didn’t select. I implied racism is racism. Yeah there’s an element of racism in the statement “American beer is crap” I only said I pitted budweiser because you mentioned American beer. Perhaps I was racist on some level within the OP of that pitting. I can’t remember.

Listen shijinn or whatever your name is :

You have falsified a quote of mine, wrongly insinuating and adding words to the effect that I am a " mother with two kids" etc

That shit is waay frowned on here and I will be speaking to an administrator.

Don’t change my words and add shit you sorry fuck!!

How do you define “racist”? At worst, what has been said is racial commentary, and even that’s a stretch. However, assuming it is, there’s nothing inherently racist about that, at least according to the definition I’m familiar with.

For example, it’s a known fact that America’s workers work longer hours than any other nation. Does that make the US’s workers any better than those of other nations? Is there anything racist about declaring that as a fact? I don’t think so.

You changed a lot of peoples posts in quotes. That is bullshit!! I hope they contrary your ass outta here. People , scroll back to his post.

Your last question doesn’t make any sense. Which bit are you asking me to declare racist?

Are you saying that “because US workers work longer hours they are better than workers in other nations” then by a loose defenition of racist the statement of is racist. It’s the word ‘any’ that confuses everything.

I’m over-logical about these things, this is my problem. I can’t let go of believing there is technically racism in broad statements relating the quality of products made by people in countries.

Why make the distinction?

And. Is it that chinese products are crap?

Or is it that most products are from china, and many products are crap?

So could it be that other countries produce the same percentage of crap?

I’m sorry I’m probably nit-picking. I didn’t see it until now. I’m tired anyway, I’ll give you guys a break.

I’m off to lie down.

oh poo. mighty touchy aren’t we Klaatu? did i say something wrong?

Yeah you did. It’s a big nono here to post a quote and change peoples words in the quote. You have enough posts here to realize that.

Nobody here will disagree with me on that.

Because every single thing made by any Chinese worker is of poor quality?

Shit man, have you bought any of the shit made in the US of A lately?

Have you ever driven a Ford?

Much of the Chinese stuff being imported into India is indeed crappy. Much cheaper than the stuff made here, but quality really doesn’t seem to be an issue there. I’m working in the construction industry, and I’ve got loads of examples to share!

Vitrified tiles - they look nice, easy to install and easy to maintain. The Chinese made ones lack uniformity in size, and more often than not have serious bends.
Power tools - the armature, transformer, even plastic switches fail with astounding regularity.
Electrical fittings - they look very pretty, but are made of cheap plastics and ceramics, and once again, transformers routinely give up.

A couple of Indian companies tried to sell Chinese manufactured motorbikes in India. They literally cost half as much as a similar bike made in India. And they’re worthless pieces of crap. IIRC, the importer gave up after a couple of months.

The same goes for clothing. Sure, the t-shirts are cheaper than a pair of socks, but if it’s going to stretch beyond recognition after 3 washes, I don’t want it.

Where did the OP state that the US didn’t make crappy cars?

After the tone this thread took, thanks for the laff Gabe!

Damn shame the Fords did damn well in last weeks Nextel Cup race…
oh well, on to Talladega.

can’t believe I’m joining this train wreck but what the hell.

words are important. The OP would have been a lot more accurate and avoided more blantant racial overtones by simply saying “Goddamn Crap Made in China”

The problem is low cost goods sourcing. It don’t matter where it’s made. You gonna pay a producer $2/shoe, well expect it’s gonna be made out of cheap material, low cost labor and a profit margin all for $2 bucks. The Chinese made $2 shoe is probably going to be higher quality than a US $2 shoe because they have a lower cost base. Somehow this translates into Chinese make shitty shoes or tools or whatever the fuck you wanna through out there.

Shit fushj00mang is citing how a buddy of his bought 10 zippo knockoffs. You can get those for about $2 bucks if you pay local price and he probably thought he had a steal at $20. I digress. Jesus fucking christ, how can anyone expect a $2 knockoff to stand up to a real zippo? It ain’t because it was made in China, it’s 'cause it’s a $2 knockoff.

Probably your main experience with chinese products is shit bought in Walmart or maybe at a flea sale. That such stuff isn’t high quality is somehow a surprise? WTF?

China exports $10 billion dollars in auto parts, mainly to the US. If those parts were such crap then your car wouldn’t run and you could froth at the mouth all you want about “goddamn crap made in China” as you fry.

Bosch makes millions of power tools in China and exports them. Quality of their exported tools is the exact same as what is produced in Germany or other countries. You think that maybe Bosch or Black and Decker or Makita or anyone else doesn’t care about their quality or their brand reputation?

American workers hardest working in the world? puh-leese, maybe compared to union workers in Europe.

I’m at work and somehow can’t get into a frothing rage, but shit people think about some of the crap you post here.

They have boots that have the heel enclosed in soft, black rubber, they look like regular boots.

He didn’t, he implied that everything made in China was inferior and I take that to mean he thinks that something made in the US will by default be worth a shit.

Ok, being involved in the thread from the beginning, I will still say that the Chinese make inferior tools.

Now, as I said up thread, I believe it is because of bad materials/manufacturing.
If that makes me a racist, then I give up.

Dammit, I have been using tools for 25 years every fucking day, and that makes me a fucking expert. I am a professional in what I do. I am the dude that you pay $35,000 to remodel your kitchen, or $9000 for your custom tile and marble bathroom.

But, I am not a fucking racist for saying that tools manufactured in China aint worth shit compared to other countries. I know tools! Shit!

What is the fucking problem with that? Plenty of countries have things they do well, and things they don’t.

Why in the holy fucking hell did a perception of racism even enter the thread??

well, have you ever used the Bosch or Makita tools made in China? Not the home use but the more professional line (for Bosch, that’s the blue color version, I forget what they call it).

How do they rate and what is the cost comparison versus what you use?

Because only someone who responded early in a thread has any credibility.

/makes wanking motion
Are you the same guy who hires illegal immigrants to work for him so he can pay shit wages and treat his workers like dirt?
Oh, sorry, did I just make an offensive generalization?

Not necessarily no, just ignorant.

Yeah, like how Americans can’t make anything electronic, right?

When you wrongly and foolishly implied that an entire country/people is incapable of making decent tools. Its the patently absurd suggestion that everything made in China is inferior that is racist. I personally own quite a few high-quality power tools that were made in China that are of excellent quality. I also own some real cheap bullshit Merikan tools.

There you go again fuckface, contorting what someone said to reflect whatever the fuck it you want it to.

Your consistent jumping to conclusions and drawing faulty analyses
is the most ignorant strewn bullshit in this thread yet.

shijinn, do not alter the texts of quotes. It puts your words into other people’s mouths, and confuses readers as to exactly who said what.
