Goddamn my alarm clock

No friends, but my brother usually wake up early for work. I’ll take your advice next time an important test comes up.

The midterm was yesterday (10/12/05). I didn’t email him since he didn’t even bother responding to my last email. I mean, I was asking about a study guide which he had no intention of handing out, but it still struck me as pretty dismissive. I thought the best way to go about contacting him was through voice or presence. I didn’t get anyone on the phone, so I left a message.

I don’t even think he’s that concerned about how hard I tried to reach him, or that I did. The guy is saying I’ve missed enough days to withdrawl me and that’s what he is setting out to do.

He sent the email the day after midterms. Nope, haven’t been to class before or after he sent it. I go to class two days a week. No answering machine either. I should have voicemail on my cell phone, but for some unexplainable reason my mother saw fit to set the message for it herself, claiming the phone was hers, and then promptly forgetting the password I’m supposed to use to reset it or even check the damn messages. Stupidest thing about the matter is that she says she doesn’t even remember doing any of this.

That’s what my mother said on the phone earlier today. A coworker suggested I fight it and even if I do get kicked out of the class show up anyways because I paid for a service and am entitled to at least the education aspect. I’m not even sure if I’m allowed to excercise the latter suggestion. But yeah…this guy either has it in for me or is plagued with misunderstandings right now. I’m so confused. Before I do anything I need to figure out where this guy is coming from. I don’t want this guy’s potential F dragging my grades down, but at the same time I’m only taking three classes this semester and I’m halfway though all of them. This is going to screw up my good standing with finacial aids.

Thanks.
(I really love Little Debbie treats. Esspecially the Oatmeal Cream pies.)

It almost sounds like he’s got you confused with someone else. I would request a face-to-face meeting with him immediately and try to get this sorted out. Like others have said, maybe an incomplete for this semester and a chance to re-try this class later might be your best outcome if the instructor won’t budge an inch on anything.

Talk with your cellphone provider about getting the voicemail reset, too. Not to be snarky, but you sound pretty willing to give up on things, and then blame things other than yourself when life doesn’t work out for you. Take the power back, man; take responsibility for your LIFE. MAKE things happen the way you want them.
