How old is the Earth's core? Maybe older than you thought
(PhysOrg.com) -- Another discovery by a Michigan Technological University researcher could send shockwaves across the world of earth science.

The numerology involved in making these particular numbers divine? Specifically, how it fits in with your understanding of these divine numberage.
Funny thing - people who use math have concluded the sun is a little older than the Earth, “little” in this case still being far longer than any biblical timespan. Seriously, Revelation talks about Christ reigning for a thousand years. That’s an eyeblink in astronomy terms.
You like going off on tangents, consider starting a new thread to share what God is telling, I’d rather keep this thread on subject, thank you for sharing
Earth is older than the sun, yes. The Bible does not specify how old though.
And with this we can conclude that any rational discussion with Treat is impossible.
This is not a debate, or even a discussion, it is merely religious witnessing by an individual with no interest whatsoever in the truth, but whose only concern is to stand on his soapbox and shout his propaganda to the wind.
I say leave him in peace to do so, you will not influence him in the slightest regardless of the accuracy of your arguments, or your demonstration of the inescapable inaccuracy in his. This is a lost cause.
What’s wrong, KJV 1611 doesn’t have Adam and Eve? So much for your knowledge of scripture.
Yeah and theres flying monkeys on the moon preparing to invade us as we speak:smack:

In one sentence, please tell us what the subject of this thread is.

Actually the earth being older than the sun is a debatable topic in the science community. But once again ignorance wins the day, oh well, so long, too bad you had no idea what you were talking about:smack:

I’ll tell you in one sentence what its not: How old the universe is:smack:
More directly to the OP, though, I have to ask Treat: Why is your faith so weak? And why do you put your weak faith in such a pitiful being as the one you think is God? You’re asking us to believe that God doesn’t know any math beyond second-grade arithmetic. The Creator of the Universe is so much greater than that, but your lack of faith is preventing you from seeing His full glory.
“How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, “This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant?” Instead they say, “No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.” - Carl Sagan
I’ll tell you in one sentence what its not: How old the universe is:smack:
Would you answer my question, please?

Is that what he transmitted to the aliens? Lol
Would you answer my question, please?
You answer me this one question and then I will answer you. What would you like to talk about? Then go start a thread about that because it’s a mystery to me as to why you are not doing that instead of wasting your time here.

I was honestly not aware of any such debate and ask for evidence of its existence. Granted, the sun and the Earth were both in an extended period of formation with no bright-line beginning or end, but it’s safely assumed based on evidence that the sun started first.

why you askin?:smack:
I can’t speak for Czarcasm, but I think I might enjoy a discussion of how pseudoscience, biblically-inspired or otherwise, is a drag on human development.
why you askin?:smack:
It’s not so much the shit you’re spouting but do you have to do it in every post?

Are you not familiar with this part of The Bible?

There is not a whole lot of information expect in the science community circles because it fairly new, but the scientists found the earth to be 1.2 billion years older than previously thought which makes it older than the sun. I suppose the heliophysicists will have to change their numbers again next year so it won’t be a debatable topic again.
Actually the earth being older than the sun is a debatable topic in the science community.
Aaaaaand there it is, folks! The grand slam! End of thread.
