After two years working from home, I’ve been going back to work once or twice per week.
I work down in lower Manhattan, and I can usually get out by 5:00 or so. I’ve only met one other Doper in person (that I know of – I’m sure we’re everywhere). Anyway, if anyone is interested in grabbing a couple after work someday, preferably Downtown or near Penn Station, or in Hoboken, let me know!
I usually go in Wednesdays, and I’ll probably add either Tuesday or Thursday.
Interesting post. Have you done this before? I wouldn’t think response would be good, but it seems like a cool idea. I’m not close by the way.
I never have. Back when there were Dopefests, I was much less active on the Boards and less sociable in general.
After a couple of years in isolation, it would be nice to meet some new people, and connect some screen names to faces.
Dang, I could go for a beer. I’ve switched to remote work with an email marketing agency–but I’m all the way up in Alaska. Might go to Manhattan in May for a friend’s birthday. I’ll DM you if our schedule aligns :>
