Next week I’ll be off to Amsterdam for six days with the girlfriend. I’m not really looking for places to visit since I’ll make that up on the fly. However I do need to know a few places that most travel books are not going to tell you about.
The first place is a craft store. My step mother likes to make stuff and she likes to have craft stuff from other places. So I’d like to find a store that sells beads, glass ware, or anything else that you can make stuff from.
Next I need to know of the good music stores in the city. Both the large retail stores and the smaller metal shops. I’d like to find a good metal shop and maybe, if such a thing exists, some Dutch metal bands.
And last I guess I should find out if anyone wants to get together for some drinks one night. We’ll be there from Thursday the 25th, til the 30th. Though Friday night we will be at a Golden Earring concert.
Oh yeah, I need to know where I can find some clogs too, real ugly ones for one of the girls at work. She wants some, she just doesn’t know how ugly she’s going to get from me!
