I’ll be there for 3 days or so (I can’t say excact dates as the Gods of security will unleash thier wrath upon me) So what should I expect? Ruined old hippies? Is the place friendly and safe? There has been some less than flatering news stories in the UK about the Goa police force.
I suppose it is basically a playground for the rich these days. I will staying on my ship so I don’t have to worry about hotels ect. Just after a bit of a relax, and an explore…

It is a tourist friendly place… Unless you are into drugs and rave parties and stuff like that ( hence mingle with shady characters ) , I do not see any need to worry…Most of the issues reported recently had a drug angle to them.
Having said that , take the normal precautions, which you will take anywhere else in world…
