Golf Question

Has there ever been an instance in a PGA sponsored event where two men in the same twosome or foursome scored a hole-in-one on the same hole on the same day? Basically, has there ever been two holes-in-one in a row? If not in a PGA event, has anyone ever personally experienced this or known someone who has?

There was a U.S. Open in the 1980s when three guys got a hole in one on the same hole in the same day, but they were all in different groups.

Sadly, golf doesn’t keep track of its records as thoroughly as baseball, so the answer is likely …

I’ve never heard of this. At least not in the same group. I have heard of it happening in the next group though. I would find it hard to believe that it could happen, though that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t.

The closest I’ve ever been to something like that was in the 98 Kemper, I think it was 98, where the first double eagle of the season was recorded. I was on the next hole so I didn’t see it. I think that was the 6th hole but don’t remember for sure.
