Already at not even 8.00 pm and military level fireworks are going off pretty routinely. Shanghai will literally explode at midnight. This place is a pyromaniacs wet dream.
among strings of 1000 firecrackers, I have a beehive. This is 16 rockets that go up about 10 stories and then explode in a big pyro burst. We’re gonna go blkow up shit right now

The fireworks last night in Beijing were just as crazy as last year, but since we moved from a university guest house to an apartment building, much, much closer and louder.
