I’m kind of surprised we haven’t heard more about this kind of thing. These seem to be the kind of people who wouldn’t take kindly to someone pointing out, however delicately, that they were wrong.

I think Rapture believers are all sola fide. If he thinks he was doing God’s will…
I can almost guarantee that Rapture believers do not understand Latin.
Or, “Love thy neighbor as thyself”, or even, “Thou shall not murder”. The shooter used deadly force after all, even if the victim lived.

They are, but they have different meanings to “salvation by faith alone.” For some, like the one I grew up in, faith is sufficient, but sinning indicates a lack of faith, and you must confess to be put back into God’s grace.
Not all sola fide churches are also “Once saved, always saved.”
You are certainly wrong. I believed in the Rapture from 1976-1982. In that time, I took two years of Latin in high school & two in college. Anyone know studied anything about the Reformation would know about “sola fide” even if they didn’t know Latin. And to that point, that commenter has obviously never met a Pentecostal Holiness type. Many of them tend to restrict the Rapture to really committed Christians, while those who live by looser standards than they do may be saved but won’t go up on the first lift-up.
