Good Fences: The worst POS I've seen since "Igby Goes Down"

I rented Good Fences at Blockbuster because the box said it was a comedy.

HAH!

This was the most disjointed, depressing waste of 2 hours of my life. I kept watching thinking it was going to get better.

Did this movie have a point (besides the whole “Danny Glover’s character is a sellout/snob”) or did it really suck as bad as I think?

I assumed it was based on the play “fences” by August Wilson, but it seems that it isn’t. It doesn’t sound any less depressing, though.
